Ikota International Market

Located next to Victoria Garden City along Lagos – Epe Expressway, Ikota market is designed to have 2,000 shops of 24m2 each.  Some of the blocks are built without internal walls so customers who want more space can purchase the number of shops they want and decide on how to partition the inside.  Electricity connection to each shop is standard with an option to connect telephone and water on demand.  As at December 2001, 600 shops were bought and are operational while 1,000 are at various stages of completion.   Shops are sold on first-come first-served basis.  More shops are being constructed.
